Request Prayer
Community One prays affirmatively, believing that God is everywhere present and active in and through all lives, and serves with sensitivity, compassion, and confidentiality. From the moment a prayer request is received, the sender is lovingly enfolded in prayer. After a response has been provided, the prayer request is placed in the Community One Oratory, where prayer is continuous, for 30 days.

In the sacred space of the Community One Oratory, someone is praying every day—praying as a kindred spirit, in a consciousness of oneness with God.

Community One has prayer services twice a day at 6AM and 9PM every day.

Positive Prayer Illustrated
In order to understand how to pray, we need to look at what Jesus taught the disciples when they asked him how to pray. Let’s look at Scripture: Matthew 6 :5-15. In this scripture, Jesus gives us a pattern for Prayer. As we look at the different elements of the Lord’s prayer, we can see Five movements which we can apply to our own life of prayer.
1. Identification
2. Unification
3. Declaration
4. Thanksgiving
5. Release
This movement gives us a pattern to follow and guides us in our prayer.

“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,”
Identify to what you are contacting in this process. Remember our Synonyms for God.
Allow your spiritual study to enrich your identification of who God is.
Some Synonyms are: Infinite Intelligence; Source; Spirit; Soul; Life; Truth; Love; Principle; and Mind.

“thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Unify yourself to the Divine intention and progressive movement. It is useful to study the definition for the human person in scripture. Use that study of the nature of the human person to define your relationship to the Divine Remember, that scripture teaches that when we were created, we were created ‘Good’ and The Divine and the human person are closely related as God is within each person.

“Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
How To Make a Declaration:
Declarations can be considered announcements of Truth. Most Declarations are composed of TWO (2) parts, each with its own purpose:

The “preamble,” an introductory statement of fact
The “body” of the Declaration

The Preamble
The preamble is a statement of fact. In it we state our authority to take command of our thought, and to manifest what we know should be true in any person, place, condition or circumstance. The preamble to the Declaration is a clear statement of belief and knowing of Spiritual Law. Your statement should be firm and direct:

“I know and declare…” “With firm belief, I know that…”

To experience manifestation/unfoldment in a Declaration is to know the prerogative of our Higher Self—the part of us that is God. The lower self, coming from the human, does not have this understanding. It is important to understand that you might feel like you are lying by saying something is perfect, when it is not showing that. The Reality is that perfection exists in the Divine blueprint. Your declaration is declaring the BLUEPRINT – the actual true pattern. The power of your word speaks the correction on the human plane. Think of your mother yelling at you to get out of the street. She was yelling a correction – which altered your behavior. The declaration is speaking, with conviction the correction of what might not be outpicturing. You need to speak the correction to have the human experience change.

The Body of the Declaration
The body of a Declaration is the Truth statement of your Spiritual Intention—things you are knowing to take place or manifest for yourself or others. The body of a Declaration is composed of the words of Truth that are absolutely true but might not be out picturing at the moment. That is one reason Declarations are so effective. When you recite the actual words of Truth you have direct access to the light, energy and consciousness of the ideas to accomplish good.
“With firm belief, I know that…The nature of God is all good and man was created in the image and likeness of God, therefore man is all good. I only see and recognize the good in each person. I declare that goodness in Maribel and Lucas and that goodness is seen in each other. I declare that goodness and love in their marriage and home…”

State your Declarations with power and conviction, feel the power of your words in your heart and know in your mind that everything, once released to the Divine will manifest.

“For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.”
Show gratitude and acknowledgement for all the goodness God has already given you. Put the credit where the credit is due. Remember that God is totally Sovereign and it is only by God’s Grace that we can experience redemption and transformation which leads to eternal happiness.

Amen. So Mote it Be. And So it is. And away we go!
Amen means so be it - it is a term that allows you to release this prayer with faith that it is in God’s Hands now. Trust the Divine to answer your prayers in a positive way that will bring a greater sense of happiness and peace in your life!
